Schedule shifts

Schedule shifts for across teams and sites so staff know when and where to work.

There are two ways to add shifts to the planner and based on your work schedules you will likely use a combination of the two.

  1. Now you've added templates for the whole week, you can click 'Auto' at the top of the page. This will automatically create all of the shifts in the week, based on the templates that you have added.
  1. To manually add a new shift, click '+' button on the planner where you want to add a new shift. If there's a template available for the employee, then that information will be pulled through to the 'New shift' pop up box.

💡 There’s also two views on the shift planner. The default view the is what we call the ‘user view’ and shows all of the users for a given site down the left hand side. The ‘time view’ only shows planned shifts for each day in time order. You can swap between the views using the toggle on the top of the shift planner.
